Our Photographers: The perfect wedding accesories

FAQ

without comments

To help you in the quest to find the perfect photographer we’ve answered some of the most popular  photography questions.

What training and education have your photographers had?  Our photographers have extensive experience and training in photography.  They all hold bachelor degrees in arts related fields and have been shooting for at least ten years each.

What’s your primary shooting style?  All our photographers shoot in a photojournalistic style.  They capture you and your guests in all their moments from tears to smiles.  Each photographer has their own unique shooting style (check out their portfolios here) but all of them use a mix of candid images and formal portraits to create the best possible set of photographs from your special event.

Will you shoot traditional, formal, or posed photos?  Yes.  You get to choose what you want the majority of your images to be whether formal or candid.  Our photographers do a great job of taking a nice mix of formals and candids.

Do you shoot events as they happen or will you “stage” moments?  Our photographers are fabulous for their ability to create great photographs in the moment.  There’s no need to stage moments or events unless you want to or the photographer is unable to capture them due to venue or wedding officiant restrictions.

Do you shoot in color or black and white?  Both.  With the fabulous technology of digital cameras and photoshop we can shoot your wedding in color and tone any photos to black and white at your request.

How many photos will my photographer take?  The number of photos varies depending on the event.  For an all day wedding ceremony and reception expect to receive over 1000 toned and corrected images in the final edit.

Can I custom design a photography package to fit my needs?  YES!  At 5th Floor Photography we want you to create a custom package.  It’s our goal to make sure you get exactly what you want in your package.  There’s no need to pay for coverage or prints you don’t want.

Can I speak with your past clients?  Absolutely.  We’d be more than happy to  provide you with contact information from previous couples.

Do you guarantee the price offered at  my consultation?  Yes.  After your consultation, we’ll provide you with a written estimate or contract.

What type of deposit is required to reserve my date?  We request 20% of the total amount of your package to secure your date.

Are the digital files of our images available on cd/dvd?  Yes!  All of our coverage includes a dvd, or series of dvds, of the final take from the event.

When will my online proofs be ready?  We will get your online gallery up as soon as possible, at the latest it will take up to 4 weeks.
